The coins have weight. You shake your device and they tumble across the table with real physics, landing differently every throw. It feels like a ritual because it is one.

Five perspectives on your question

Each reader is a character with their own voice, worldview, and way of seeing your hexagram. The same reading means something different through each one, so you can choose the perspective that fits where you are.

The complete I Ching

All 64 hexagrams with classical texts. Changing lines reveal a second hexagram beneath the first, exactly as the tradition prescribes.

A space made for stillness

You cast inside a moonlit room with wooden beams, paper lanterns, and light filtering through lattice windows. Your hexagram unrolls on a parchment scroll. Everything about the space invites you to slow down.

A proverb each morning

A different saying each day from Confucius, Laozi, and Chinese tradition, with the original text, pinyin, and a translation in your language. A small daily practice.

Collectible coins

3D-rendered coins with unique materials, physics, and designs drawn from ancient history and mythology. Earn them as you use the app, or discover new ones in the shop.

In your language

Available in ten languages, and the AI readings adapt their tone and nuance to each one rather than just translating words. A reading in Japanese feels different from one in German.

Private by design

Your questions are never logged or stored. AI readings are processed and immediately forgotten, and cloud sync is available if you want it but off by default.

What is the I Ching?

The I Ching (易經), the Book of Changes, is one of the oldest texts in human history. Written over 3,000 years ago, it maps 64 hexagrams: six-line figures of solid and broken lines, each carrying a judgment about the nature of a moment. Traditionally consulted by casting coins or sorting yarrow stalks, it speaks through symbols drawn from nature, seasons, and the patterns of human life.

It does not predict the future. It illuminates the present. Many use it for contemplation, for decision-making, or simply to sit with a question and hear what surfaces. Carl Jung studied it extensively and saw in it a mirror of his own concept of synchronicity.

Most I Ching apps use random numbers with basic animations and show the same static text every time. YiCast has real coin physics, five AI readers who generate personalized interpretations, and an immersive 3D room that turns each reading into a ritual.

Does YiCast store my questions?

No. Questions stay on your device. When you request an AI reading, your question is sent to the server, processed, and immediately discarded. Never logged, never stored. Cloud backup is optional and off by default.

Is the I Ching religious?

No. The I Ching has been studied in Confucian, Taoist, and Buddhist traditions, but it is equally used as secular philosophy and a tool for self-reflection. YiCast presents it as a wisdom tradition open to everyone.

Cast Your Coins. Read Your Changes.
