YiCast — End User License Agreement (EULA)

1. License Grant

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use YiCast on your devices for personal, non-commercial use.

This license does not give you ownership of the software or any content within it.

2. What You May Not Do

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute YiCast or any part of it
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable law (including EU Directive 2009/24/EC on decompilation for interoperability)
• Remove or alter any copyright or trademark notices
• Use YiCast for any commercial purpose without our written permission
• Sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the app to others
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable law

3. Ownership

YiCast, including all code, graphics, character designs, coin designs, music, animations, and other content, is owned by Rauma Holding Oy or its licensors.

Third-party components (open-source libraries, AI services) remain the property of their respective owners and are used under their respective licenses.

4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

Digital items purchased within YiCast (jade coins, reading passes, collectible coins, reader access) are licensed to you — not sold. Your right to use purchased items exists only within YiCast and is subject to these terms.

Subscriptions (if offered) provide time-limited access to premium features and renew automatically unless cancelled through your app store. Subscription benefits may change between billing periods as the service evolves.

5. Service Nature and Updates

YiCast is provided as an ongoing service. Features, content, and functionality may change at any time as we develop the app. We do not guarantee that any specific feature or behavior will remain unchanged.

We may release updates at any time. Some updates may be required to continue using the app. Updates are subject to this EULA unless accompanied by a new agreement.

6. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. We may terminate or suspend your access if you materially violate this EULA, provided we give you reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation where practicable. In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may terminate immediately.

Upon termination, you must stop using YiCast and delete all copies. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination, including your rights under applicable consumer protection law.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

YiCast is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Finnish law, Rauma Holding Oy is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of YiCast.

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app or in-app purchases in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Mandatory consumer protection rights under Finnish and EU law are not affected by this limitation.

9. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Finland. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules that may give you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

10. App Store Terms

If you downloaded YiCast from an app store (Google Play, Apple App Store), the app store's terms also apply. In case of conflict between this EULA and the app store terms, the app store terms prevail to the extent of the conflict.

The app store provider is not responsible for YiCast or its content. Any claims related to YiCast should be directed to us, not the app store.
